Brookston - Geneva F. Hicks Himes, 77 of Rt. 2, Brookston, died at 12:21 p.m. Tuesday in Home Hospital. She had been hospitalized since Sunday. Born Oct 26, 1911 in Ladoga, she was a 1930 graduate of Ladoga HS. She was married July 13, 1932 in Ladoga to Paul Himes, a minister who survives. He had pastored church in Brookston, Covington, Elkhart, Muncie and seven years in Florida, before retiring. In November 1986 they returned to Brookston. Mrs. Himes was a member of Brookston Church of Christ. Surviving with her husband are two sons, Michael Himes of Crawfordsville and Philip Himes of Muncie and one sister, Mrs. Beatrice Elmore of Covington - kbz
